Posted in: , ,

The campaign manager of the People's Democratic Party, Chief Femi Fani Kayode has blocked several people's Twitter accounts from viewing his profile on that social networking site, amid rumors that he was planted in PDP to destroy their campaign. The suggestion was put forward by user @GMB4Change;

Check out the several tweets by Buhari supporters who have been blocked by Fani Kayode. Even GEJ supporters are also seeking their leader...

'Soludo Is Confused' - Fani Kayode Goes on Personal Offensive Rather Than Facing Facts

Posted in: , ,

Femi Fani- Kayode, the Director, Media and Publicity of PDP Campaign Organisation, has responded to former CBN governor Charles Soludo who calls on President Goodluck Jonathan to stop campaigning on the platform of economical gains to the country. Soludo had explained in an earlier article how the incumbent president had failed woefully in that regard. Read article.

Reacting in a public press statement however, Fani Kayode goes on a personal offensive and makes no reference to the facts and figures used by Soludo, only pointing to a couple of reports listing Nigeria as a growing economy. He accuses Soludo of having lost touch with reality, of being partisan and supporting Buhari. Read the cringe-worthy rebuttal below...

Fani Kayode And Jonathan's Campaign Team Speak On Fayose's Death Advert

Posted in: , , , ,

I noticed this advert by the Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose causing a lot of ruckus online yesterday, but is it really different from the dirty campaigns we've seen so far from PDP, even going as far as forging a medical report indicating that Buhari has cancer?

Anyways, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential campaign organisation led by the Director of Media and Publicity, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, has spoken out to say they did not endorse the advert. Fani Kayode said the views expressed in the publication were personal to Fayose, even as the message was on point as to the PDP's worry with Buhari's age. Read his statement below...

Femi Fani Kayode Believes Patrick Sawyer's Travel to Nigeria Was A Bio-Terrorism Conspiracy

Posted in: , ,

Femi Fani-Kayode is pulling no punches when it comes to the issue of Patrick Sawyer, the Liberian-American index case and Ebola victim in Nigeria. The politician and opinionist took to Facebook to share his thoughts on the subject which include conspiracy theories on bioterrorism.

He writes;

I disagree with those who have described Patrick Sawyer as a madman. He was not mad at all but just evil. He was a man that was on a mission. That mission was to spread the ebola virus to Nigeria and to infect and kill as many people as possible with it.

He was an evil man with an evil intention and purpose. Worst still he was not working alone. Some people, and I mean rich, powerful and well-connected people, were working with him. As a matter of fact they sent him on the mission.

Femi Fani Kayode Defends Wife and Daughters, Tenders Unreserved Apology to Igbos

Posted in: , ,

Femi Fani Kayode listed the names of women he slept with, and some faceless journalists concocted baseless allegations against his wife and daughters. To smoothen feathers that have been flying in the past weeks and which denigrated to he said-she said depths over the last few days, Femi Fani Kayode himself has come out to debunk the rumors and tender his personal apology to Igbos and everyone hurt by his ill-thought out articles. At least he's taken some maturity pill, but he really needs a rethink of who he is and what he hopes to achieve by his utterances. His apology below...

Femi Fani Kayode Speaks on Love, Marriage and Divorce

Posted in: , ,

I was a fan of Femi Fani Kayode while he was in the Obasanjo government. He was a good looking man, younger than a lot of the others in the cabinet, and well spoken. I knew nothing about him as a person or his personal life. And then I left Nigeria, he left the government and kind of faded from the public eye. My interest was rekindled in him after a politically motivated exchange of words he had with Reuben Abati.

And then he made the remarks about the dead girlfriend of Oscar Pistorius, [read here] which I found thoughtless and gratuitously provocative. When I learnt he granted a personal interview to this Christian blog, I was interested, and after reading, I think I see where those nasty comments were coming from. We are to believe he's a repented and reformed philanderer, who really loves his wife even though they're living separate lives and he just finished dating someone else not too long ago. Yeah, right.

I found his thoughts on love and marriage interesting, if not something I agree with. He presents a perspective that we rarely hear from. Most womanizers never speak up, and at least Fani Kayode is speaking from a place of knowing he made mistakes. On divorce, some could say he's taking a pro-stand because he's a divorcee, but it makes sense. Here are some excerpts from the interview;
